A Home Energy Rating
A home energy rating is a method used to measure the overall energy efficiency performance of a home. This analysis, rated on a scale from 1 to 100, allows consumers to compare the efficiencies of a new home. It allows homeowners to see their energy savings, and thus cost savings, over a new built-to-code home.
The benefit:
An 85 point Home Energy Rating Score is 15% above the energy efficiency of a home built to code. Therefore, Built Green Homes have a 15% better energy performance than homes built to code.

Sealed Combustion 92% Efficient Furnace
The benefits of a sealed combustion air 92% efficient furnace are:
-
Energy Star qualified furnaces which have an efficiency rating of 90% or greater are 15% more efficient than standard models.
-
These furnaces are designed to extract the most heat out of every heating dollar.
-
You will save up to 24% in energy costs.
-
A “sealed combustion” unit prevents the potential for back drafting flue gases into the home, resulting in better indoor air quality and safety.

|
 |
Properly Sized Duct System
-
Provides proper air flow, heating and cooling to each room which keeps the occupant comfortable with minimal effort and uses less energy.
|
|
 |
Sealed Combustion Fireplace
-
Prevents back-drafting of carbon monoxide and other by products into the conditioned space resulting in better indoor air quality and safety.
-
Aesthetic benefit of a fireplace without the inefficiency and pollution caused by a wood burning fireplace.
